Golf can be played at Miami Shores Country Club Golf; you can spend the day on the beach at Haulover Beach. Big Cypress National Preserve is a good local destination here at Lake Arcola, and dry warm beds await you at Motel Blu. Lakes? Sure, Twin Lakes is nearby, and camping at Oleta River State Park       is always a wonderful experience. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Lake Arcola there are plenty of folks from Miami-Fort Lauderdale-Miami Beach; if you need a place to stay Midtown Inn is a fine choice. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Cravero Lake, and Lake Arcola is great enough to spend more than a day at, Little Farm Mobile Court is a great local campground. Lake Arcola sees pretty high levels of rain; June is when                  you get the most rain here while December is the month with the least amount of precipitation. At Lake Arcola all through the summer highs are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 70's.
