Take a look at close by Gillis Bay, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Defuniak Springs is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! Andrews Lake is great! A scenic lake like Ramer Pond near Andrews Lake is a great location to explore, and dry warm beds await you at Americas Best Value Inn - Defuniak Springs. Take a side spree to Timber Branch; lakes are such peaceful locations, why not stop by Henry Prescott Pond.

| | Enjoy a round of golf at Sandy Pines Golf Club not far from Andrews Lake, and Vortex Spring is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Bass Haven Camp Ground is a glorious campground nearby, and Reynolds Hill is trouble-free to spot from Andrews Lake. A large amount of rain falls at Andrews Lake; March is the month that gets the most rain, and October is when it's the driest.

and the nighttime is fairly cooler of course, regularly in the 60's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 60's while the cold winter nights at Andrews Lake are in the 30's.

Our resort is on King Lake, which is approximately 580 acres and is well stocked with black bass, crappie, shellcracker, and bream. Large bass catches are a regular happening and the lake has yielded a 17 1/4 pounder. Bream weighing in at 2 pounds and greater, along with 3 pound crappie have been caught on many occasions.
We have large campsites that can accommodate any size RV, from personal campers to the ''Big ''Rigs'', with water, sewer, 30 & 50 Amp electric service, and cable TV. WIFI is also available ($).
You can relax in our quiet atmosphere or spend time with friendly neighbors and have the companionship of fellow RVers. Come to the clubhouse for a bite to eat, play some games, work on crafts, read a book, or just look out over the beautiful lake and surrounding countryside.
