It is peaceful and like nothing I have ever seen. The surrounding communities are great and the properties on the lake are fabulous. There are very few houses on the lake, however there is a new community growing called Lake Anderson Estates. After a long day outdoors Madison - Days Inn is a tremendous site to spend a night or two, and Dial Pond is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. Anderson Lake gets much water; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and October is the month with the least moisture. A good close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Madison, Fl; why not camp at Jellystone Park since you're       here at Anderson Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Anderson Lake is good fun, Madison Campground is a good local campground. Throughout the summer months, highs frequently are in the 90's at Anderson Lake. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's.
