The high level of rainfall makes Alligator Lake a relatively wet place; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and April is when it's the driest. So many fun things to do here at Alligator Lake, too magnificent to be true. High temperatures at Alligator Lake during the long summer days are in the 90's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. Highs through the wintertime are frequently       in the 60's, and night lows at Alligator Lake during the wintertime commonly drop into the 40's. Do check out Castle Lake near Alligator Lake, it's a lovely lake; if you need a site to stay Quality Inn And Suites Riverfront is a magnificent choice. Go for a hike on the Ocala National Recreation Trail; why not camp at Shell Harbor Resort while you're here at Alligator Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camp Branch flows through this area, and after a long                  day outdoors Sleep Inn & Suites is a great location to spend a night or two.
