The beauty of Alligator Lake is reason enough to stop by. Throughout the days of summer at Alligator Lake highs are ordinarily in the 90's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's generally in the 70's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 60's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Alligator Lake temperatures drop to the 40's. Lakes? Sure, Lake Hamburg is nearby. Paddling on Falling Creek is so much fun, and camping is available at Casey Jones Campgrounds. You'll meet a lot of folks from Lake City here; after a long day outdoors Scottish Inns Lake City is a brilliant place to spend a night or two. Going for a hike on the Osceola Trail is always a great adventure, and camping at Lake City Koa Kampground is always a good experience.
