Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Near Lake Alice you come across a golf course called Meadowbrook Golf Club. A wonderful lake like Bivans Arm right next door to Lake Alice is a great site to stop at; if you came to camp Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park is a brilliant spot to do that. Lake Alice gets much water; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months       is October. This lake is so wonderful. You'll come across a pretty lake called Prairie Creek near Lake Alice, and if you need a place to stay Gainesville Days Inn is a brilliant choice. Throughout the days of summer at Lake Alice temperatures are regularly in the 90's with overnight lows in the 70's. Highs all through the wintertime are usually in the 60's while Lake Alice night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 40's. Dry warm beds await you                  at Hilton University Of Florida Conference Center Gainesville, and some of the water close by flows, like Hogtown Creek.
