All through the months of summer at Waples Pond temperatures are usually in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at Waples Pond dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. The high level of rain makes Waples Pond a relatively wet place; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month is February.       Just can't get enough of Waples Pond. There's so much to do here at Waples Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Shawn's Hideaway Trailer is a splendid location for that, and there's some flowing water nearby, Iron Branch is a stream you can take a look at while here. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Waples Pond you'll most likely meet some folks from Seaford, naturally you could also stop by Logwood Pond if you're here; it's not far at all. If you                  came to camp Gull's way Campground is a fine location to do that, and after a long day outdoors Heritage Inn and Golf Club is a splendid location to spend a night or two.
