If you like lakes and you're in this part of Delaware you can check out Trap Pond. Why not camp at Trap Pond State Park since you're here at Trap Pond; Delmarva Peninsula is not far at all. You don’t have to go far from Trap Pond to observe the water at Trap Pond Dam, and if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SALISBURY-DELMAR is a wonderful choice. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place.

| | at Trap Pond, high temperatures regularly reach the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. Through the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 40's while Trap Pond night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's. If you came for an overnight stay Lowes Lakeview Campground is a good place to camp, and lots of folks from Seaford come here. This lake is so wonderful. Trap Pond is a wet place that gets lots of rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture.
