The high level of rainfall makes Teal Pond a rather wet place; most of the rain falls during August, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. A spree to nearby Broadkill Neck is very relaxing. Camping is available at Steamboat Landing; you can spend the day on the beach at Primehook Beach. But wait,       there's more to do right next door to Teal Pond. Do have a look at Flaxhole Pond near Teal Pond, it's a lovely lake, and during your spree here you'll meet some folks from Seaford for sure. A round of golf at nearby Midway Par 3 Golf Course is a good way to kill some time, and Sleep Inn & Suites Rehoboth Beach Area is a magnificent place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water nearby flows, like Deep Branch, and after a long day outdoors                  Comfort Inn & Suites is a glorious place to spend a night or two. For the duration of the days of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Teal Pond, and the nighttime is a little chillier of course, ordinarily in the 60's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 40's while Teal Pond nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the 20's.
