Summertime highs at Teal Pond mostly tend to be in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's; night       lows in the 20's for Teal Pond. This lake is so wonderful. You'll come across a beautiful lake called Flaxhole Pond near Teal Pond. Why not camp at Eagles Nest Family Camp Ground while you're here at Teal Pond; close by you hit upon Broadkill Neck. There are swamps here too; Buzzard Swamp is in the vicinity, and time spent at Primehook Beach is always splendid. Be careful coming to Teal Pond, you might not ever wanna go home again. You're sure to run                  into some fine people from Seaford here, and Steamboat Landing is a brilliant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Do take a look at Goose Pond in close proximity to Teal Pond, it's a delightful lake; Midway Par 3 Golf Course is a great golf course nearby.
