This lake is so wonderful. A quick journey to Old Slaughter Creek close to Southwest Pond is a nice idea. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Southwest Pond has to offer, you can camp at Steamboat Landing. If you're here at Southwest Pond, do take a tour to Little Neck, and       after a long day outdoors Sleep Inn & Suites Rehoboth Beach Area is a fine site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. And that's not all you can do here at Southwest Pond. Stay the night at Eagles Nest Family Camp Ground, and Primehook Beach is a beautiful beach to stop at. Do explore Ingram Pond next to Southwest Pond, it's a pretty lake; swamps like Broken Marshes near Southwest Pond make for great places to stop by. This is a popular place                  for people from Seaford, and on a lovely day you can take a look at Fowler Beach. For the duration of the warm days of summer at Southwest Pond highs are regularly in the 80's, and the night is slightly colder of course, commonly in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Southwest Pond are in the 20's.
