All the water falling down from the sky makes Silver Lake a wet site; during September this area sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll love Silver Lake. You're sure to encounter some wonderful people from Dover here. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Silver Lake, and the overnight is a bit colder of course, typically in the 60's. During the winter highs are in the       40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Silver Lake dip into the 20's. A perfect spot to camp here at Silver Lake is Pine Haven Campground, and Silver Lake Dam has delightful water scenery. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Cedar Creek Landing Campground, and Silver Lake is not the only spot close by, Haven Lake is a close by lake. Super 8 Motel - Milford is a wonderful spot to get some rest, of course you could                  also stop at Marshall Millpond if you're here; it's not far at all.
