It's a good idea to pop by Muddy Branch, it's in the neighborhood of Raymond Pool; swamps don’t sound that good but Bay Gut near Raymond Pool is relatively good. This lake is so wonderful. Raymond Pool Dam is a stunning location right next door to Raymond Pool, and don't forget to take a look at Parson Point while you're here. Raymond Pool gets a normal amount of rain; May is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Nothing beats kicking back at Fraland Beach, and after a long day outdoors Residence Inn Dover is a splendid spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful.

We visited Killen Pond and stayed for a week in one of their cabins. It was a most enjoyable stay. The cabin was comfortable and the park surrounding were amazingly beautiful. We had access to a paddleboat and dock which we used every day in addition, we brought our bikes and took a bike ride every morning. We loved it and would highly reccommend it to couples or family vacation.... |

My wife and I retired here to Haven Lake, we have renamed it ''Heaven Lake'' It is quite peaceful and a fisherman or nature lover's paradise. The fish jump right out of the water! I am not kidding you. The species of birds and wildlife are amazing. My wife and I take an early morning boatride and seldom see another boater. It's like having this beautiful 82 acre premier fishing lake to ourselves. We respect and appreciate every inch of it....

... closes a locked, fenced in area around the lake. They will come to open it at 15 minutes or so, before light, and will lock it up once it is dark. If your vehicle is in there after this time, you are spending the night there! They have a 10 HP restrictions on motors, but that was to stop the army of bass boats that descended on the lake from various states in the late eighties and early nineties, when the word got out about the size of the fish in Noxontown. Now, in the last few years, they have been permitting people with bass boats to come there, but a NO-WAKE policy is in effect. If you cause a commotion or disturbance they can prohibit them again, so you must be respectful. The school has boats docked in the lake on their property for students to use, and there is an area that is restricted and marked by signs in the water. They also hold races there, and there are lanes marked with floats for this purpose, so be careful with your outboard when fishing or crossing these areas. They also prohibit alcoholic beverages, and there is a State Game Warden there at the ramp most times i... |

We love this campground. They have constant activities from dawn till dusk. Everyone really gets into the daily activities! The owner is always available and courteous. Did I mention the sites are HUGE? they also have companion sites which are great when camping with a freind!
