There are other spots here than Porter Reservoir, for example Edgemoor Reservoir, and why not a little side trip to Alapocas Run. People from Philadelphia-Camden-Wilmington love to come to Porter Reservoir. The high level of rain makes Porter Reservoir a pretty wet location; throughout July this area sees the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. For you golfers we recommend nearby Rock Manor Golf Course; if you need a site to stay Courtyard

Summertime at Porter Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 60's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Porter Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Brandywine Creek is a tremendous whitewater spot near Porter Reservoir; Nemours Dam is not far at all from Porter Reservoir. Be careful | |
