Camping is available at Lums Pond State Park; obviously, this is a nice area for people who like lakes, Nemours Pond is a lake around here. New Castle Reservoir mostly gets a lot of rainfall; July is when you get       the most rain here while February is regularly the driest month. While you're here at New Castle Reservoir you will meet lots of people from nearby Philadelphia-Camden-Wilmington, and whitewater paddling is great on Red Clay Creek. Time spent at Deemers Beach in the neighborhood of New Castle Reservoir is always glorious, and let's not forget Army Creek which is a stream that you may bump into while here.
