A lake nearby is Andrews Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Galaxy Inn. All the water falling down from the sky makes McGinnis Pond a wet place; the month with most of the rain is August; the driest of the months is February. This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time. If you need a site to stay Microtel Inn and Suites Dover is a good choice. There's always       McGinnis Pond Dam to check out right next door to McGinnis Pond. You'll need more than a day to explore everything McGinnis Pond has to offer, you can camp at Killens Pond State Park. For the period of the summertime at McGinnis Pond highs are generally in the 80's while night lows are frequently in the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for McGinnis Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
