Killen Pond, Kent County, Delaware     User input for Killen Pond, Kent County, Delaware: Tom & Rosemary: We visited Killen Pond and stayed for a week in one of their cabins.  It was a most enjoyable stay.  The cabin was comfortable and the park surrounding were amazingly beautiful.  We had access to a paddleboat and dock which we used every day in addition, we brought our bikes and took a bike ride every morning.  We loved it and would highly reccommend it to couples or family vacation. Killen Pond gets a large amount of water; most of the rain falls throughout August, and February is when it's the driest. Killen Pond is a great location to camp, Woodenhawk Campground is a great location, and Killen Pond is not the only place nearby, Coursey Pond is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at SUPER 8 MOTEL - HARRINGTON; lots of people from Dover come       here. Killen Pond Dam is worth checking out if you're here, and there's some flowing water nearby, Indian Branch is a stream you can explore while here. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Killen Pond. Pine Haven Campground is a brilliant campground here, and if you need a spot to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Harrington-D0Ver Area, De is a pleasant choice. All through the months of summer at Killen Pond highs are frequently                  in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
