Holland Pond gets lots of water; through the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Davidson Marsh is right close by, and after a long day outdoors Sleep Inn & Suites is a good place to spend a night or two. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Holland Pond, and all through the night       it cools down to the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Holland Pond dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Broadkill Beach. Broadkill Sound is not far from Holland Pond at all, and Old Inlet Beach is relatively nearby if you're in a beach type of mood.
