Through the summer months at Coursey Pond highs are generally in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at Coursey Pond dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. A beautiful lake like McColley Pond in close proximity to Coursey Pond is a good location to stop at, and Killens Pond State Park is a nice campground nearby. This lake       is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Harrington-D0Ver Area, De, and why not stop at Coursey Pond Dam while you're here. So much cool stuff next to Coursey Pond, simply striking. Indian Branch is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit. People from Dover love to come to Coursey Pond, and lakes are such serene sites, why not stop at Killen Pond.
