While you're here at Burton Pond you have to pop by Pine Water Neck; why not take a little spree to Burton Prong while you're here. Burton Pond gets much water; August is the wettest month with most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Sleep Inn & Suites is a wonderful place to spend a night or two; while you're here here do check out nearby Joy Beach. Dry warm       beds await you at Heritage Inn and Golf Club; Burton Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Big Oaks Family Campground is a great local campground. Be careful coming to Burton Pond, you might not ever want to go home again. Very brilliant water scenery is available at Burton Pond Dam right next door to Burton Pond, and while you're here you can play some golf at Heritage Inn & Golf Club. The good folks of Seaford like to hang out nearby. All through                  the days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Burton Pond, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Burton Pond dipping down into the 20's through winter nights.
