Blackbird Pond is a wet place that gets much rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. New Jersey Coastal Heritage Trail Route is a glorious spot next to Blackbird Pond, and a brilliant nearby hotel is Sleep Inn & Suites. You'll meet a lot of people from Dover here. There's so much to do here at Blackbird Pond that you need to camp here for a while,       Lums Pond State Park is a good location for that. So many cool things to do at Blackbird Pond, so little time. Blackbird Pond is not the only place nearby, Silver Lake is a nearby lake; obviously Barlow Branch flows through this neighborhood.
