Lakes are great; Bond Reservoir is a lake that's near Zemko Pond. At Zemko Pond through the days of summer highs are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.                  Highs through the winter are regularly in the 30's, and nighttime lows during the wintertime for Zemko Pond tend to be in the 10's. Acorn Acres Campground is a good local campground, and needless to say Fraser Brook flows through this vicinity. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Whittlesey Swamp is right close by, and if you come at the right time of year, Natchaug River offers some glorious whitewater.
