Camping is available at Looking Glass Hill Campgrounds; on a wonderful day you acquire a great vista of Bell Hill from Wyant Pond. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Wyant Pond; Naugatuck Trail is a great local trail. This place, Wyant Pond, it absolutely has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. You beyond doubt must pop by Mt. Tom State Park since you're here at Wyant Pond, and glorious hiking is available along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. Zeiglers

| | Pond is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and whitewater paddling is fine on Bantam River. At Wyant Pond during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's, and the overnight is fairly cooler of course, usually in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Wyant Pond dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Wyant Pond is always splendid, and Heritage Hotel is a splendid site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. A perfect close by hotel is The Mayflower Inn & Spa; Wyant Pond Dam is a striking place. All the water falling down
from the sky makes Wyant Pond a wet site; the month with most of the rain is August; the driest of the months is February. During your stay at Wyant Pond do stop at nearby Morris Town Beach, and you can go for a hike on the Mattatuck
Trail. But wait, there's more to do near Wyant Pond. If you get bored of Wyant Pond, you could also pop by close by Quist Pond, and in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Shepaug River.
