Wyant Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. For the period of the warm days of summer highs here at Wyant Pond reach the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Wyant Pond. Going for a hike on the Naugatuck Trail is always a splendid adventure. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Bantam

| | River; Woodbury has great slopes and a friendly staff. Wyant Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; August is when you get the most rain here; February is when it's the driest. Do pop by Wyant Pond Dam while you're here at Wyant Pond, and camping is available at Cozy Hills Campground. Mt. Tom State Park is a delightful place to go if you're at Wyant Pond, and if you're here, you could also have a look at scenic Quist Pond. There is a fine hiking trail | |

right next door to Wyant Pond called the Mattatuck Trail, and you can hit the slopes at Mohawk Mountain around here. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Homestead Inn is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two,
and camping at Looking Glass Hill Campgrounds is always a perfect experience. Be careful coming to Wyant Pond, you might not ever want to go home again. At Wyant Pond you can see Bell Hill, and you'll find a lovely lake called Zeiglers
Pond. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Wyant Pond. If you need a place to stay Heritage Inn is a wonderful choice; a day at gorgeous Morris Town Beach in close proximity to Wyant Pond is a fine thing to do. This
lake is so wonderful. Near Wyant Pond you come across the Appalachian National Scenic Trail which is a good hiking trail, and on a gorgeous day you can take a look at Litchfield Town Beach. If you come at the right time of year, Shepaug
River offers some delightful whitewater, and if you're stopping by from Torrington, you won't be the only one.
