The beauty of Wyant Pond attracts many people from all around. A splendid beach next to Wyant Pond is Litchfield Town Beach, and the skiing at Mohawk Mountain is nice. If you need a place to stay Heritage Inn is a great choice, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Wyant Pond; Mattatuck Trail is a great local trail. | | February. If you came for an overnight stay Cozy Hills Campground is a perfect location to camp, and there are plenty of folks from Torrington here. This lake is so wonderful. Morris Town Beach is a beach in close proximity to Wyant Pond that you can check out, and Bantam River is a nice whitewater spot close by. this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Wyant Pond are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. You can see Bell Hill from Wyant Pond, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Woodbury is relatively near.
After a long day outdoors Homestead Inn is a good site to spend a night or two, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. Having a nice time at Wyant Pond is uncomplicated. You can run the rapids
of Shepaug River in close proximity to Wyant Pond. All the outdoors amusing stuff near Wyant Pond will keep you coming back over and over. Take a hike on the Naugatuck Trail, and camping is available at Looking Glass Hill Campgrounds.
You can take a little trip to Wyant Pond Dam since you're here at Wyant Pond, and Mt. Tom State Park is a good spot to stretch your legs a bit.
