This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend close by Sleeping Giant Golf Course, and an exciting thing to go to near Woodruffs Pond is Butterworth Dam. If you need a place to stay Days Inn Hamden is a great choice; Sleeping Giant State Park is a great spot to stretch your legs a bit. At Woodruffs       Pond during the summer months highs are in the 80's while night lows are generally in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while Woodruffs Pond night low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a tremendous little visit to Butterworth Brook; the summit of Mount Carmel can be seen from Woodruffs Pond. Lakes are delightful; Woodruffs Pond is a lake that's near Woodruffs                  Pond, and the skiing at Mount Southington is fine. All the outdoors fun stuff right next door to Woodruffs Pond will keep you coming back again and again. There are delightful spots to explore along the Regicides Trail; Marriott ExecuStay at New Haven is a good location to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Woodruffs Pond that you need to camp here for a while, National Computer Camps is a nice location for that, and everyone nearby loves skiing at Powder Ridge. At Woodruffs Pond you always meet someone from New Haven-Milford, and you can go for a hike on the Naugatuck Trail. Woodruffs Pond is a rather wet place typically with a large amount of rain; during the month of August you get the most rain around here; February is when it's the driest. Having a great time at Woodruffs Pond is easy.
