This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to bump into some cheerful folks from Torrington here, and you obtain a tremendous vista of Gay Woods Hill from here. Going for a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and you'll hit upon a charming lake called       Wononskopomuc Lake. Soar down the rapids of Housatonic River in a kayak, and Wononpakook Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Taconic State Park Rudd Pond is a tremendous local campground. Sharon Motor Lodge is a perfect place to get some rest, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Elbow Trail. Summertime highs at Wononpakook Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's. The wintertime comes                  with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Wononpakook Lake dip into the 10's. That right there is a heap already, but it continues; Wononpakook Lake has it all. You don’t have to go far from Wononpakook Lake to distinguish the water at Wononpakook Lake Dam, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn Great Barrington is a perfect place to spend a night or two. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun. Really great skiing awaits you at Catamount; a striking lake like Deep Lake is a wonderful location to have a look at. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Wononpakook Lake you can take a hike along the Indian Trail, and if you're here, you could go to Beeslick Brook. The amount of rain that falls at Wononpakook Lake is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February.
