Go to Witch Meadow Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. During the warm months at Witch Meadow Pond highs are usually in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows throughout the winter for Witch Meadow Pond tend to be in the 10's. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot. to stay Niantic Days Inn is a wonderful choice. While you're here at Witch Meadow Pond you can play some golf at Fox Hopyard Golf Club, and after a long day outdoors Hilltop Inn-Niantic is a glorious place to spend a night or two.
Visit Big Brook while you're here at Witch Meadow Pond, and Witch Meadow Pond Dam is a scenic place, absolutely worth stopping at. If you came for an overnight stay Salem Farms Campground is a good place to camp, and if you don’t
have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Natchaug River. Devils Hopyard State Park is a great place, and there are other sites here than Witch Meadow Pond, for example Alexander Pond.
All the water
falling down from the sky makes Witch Meadow Pond a wet spot; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest month of the year is February. Man, is there heaps of exciting stuff to do next to Witch Meadow Pond.
