This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene places, why not check out Bennett Ponds in the neighborhood of Lake Windwing, and Lake Windwing is a delightful place to camp, Kettletown State Park is a delightful place. Near Lake Windwing you hit upon a golf course called Ridgefield Golf Course, and after a long day outdoors Springhill Suites By Marriott Danbury is a magnificent location to spend a night or two. Very beautiful       scenery and tremendous skiing is what you get at Thunder Ridge; one of the major traits of the surroundings of Lake Windwing is Barrow Mountain. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the area in the neighborhood of Lake Windwing has to offer.
