     Mansfield Hollow State Park is a good place to take a look at; after a long day outdoors Best Western Regent Inn is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Natchaug River. On a wonderful day you acquire a panorama of Miller Hill from Willimantic Reservoir, and Mansfield Hollow Lake is a nice lake close by. The high level of rain makes Willimantic Reservoir a relatively wet location;  
   the wettest month of the year is mostly November, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
Throughout the warmest time of the year, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Willimantic Reservoir while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are generally in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Willimantic Reservoir. If you're here at Willimantic
 
               Reservoir, you could pop by Conantville Brook, and Nickerson Park Camp Grounds is a magnificent campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. You can take a little trip to Willimantic Reservoir Dam while you're here at Willimantic Reservoir, and during your visit here you'll meet some folks from Norwich-New London for sure.
Near Willimantic Reservoir you stumble on Mansfield Hollow which is a fine site to go to; if you need a place to stay Nathan Hale Inn And Conference Center is a pleasant choice. This lake is so wonderful. Interesting geology is available here; Crotch of the River is close to Willimantic Reservoir, and lakes are such calm places, why not explore Echo Lake. Any time is a nice time at Willimantic Reservoir if you fancy the outdoors. Stay the night at Brialee Campground, and Salmon River has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot nearby.
