...e Peppertree Camping is a 50 site campground, located directly on the sparkling Natchaug River in Northeast Connecticut.  Just 2 hrs from Boston, or 3 hours from NYC, in the quiet corner - not far from MA or RI, is a gorgeous green getaway.  One of the oldest campgrounds in the area, it has been updated from under the ground - with new water, electric and cable, on up - with a new pavilion, refurbished camp store, laundry, free WIFI, and more.  It is family and pet friendly.  Folks love to fish in the Trophy Trout state stocked stream.  Tubing is great fun, whether within the campground, or going further downstream.  Kayaking and canoeing are other activities, if the water level is high enough - or it can by enjoyed at Hall's Pond nearby.

Located directly across from the Natchaug state forest, there is lots of wildlife and birds to enjoy, as well as the hiking trails.  The campers enjoy lively, fun BINGO on Sat. nights, the occasional potluck or community campfire.  The last Saturday in July, we hold our annual Camper Appreciation Picnic with lots of food and fun.  Holiday ...
