No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Williams Pond. Nathan Hale Inn And Conference Center is a good location to get some rest, and there's some flowing water close by, Willimantic River is a stream you can pop by while here. This lake is so wonderful. The view of picturesque Clarks Hill near Williams Pond is tremendous; Devils Hopyard State Park is both magnificent and striking.       A great nearby hotel is Best Western Regent Inn; at Williams Pond you always meet someone from Norwich-New London. Williams Pond is a wet place that gets lots of rain; through May this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is July. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Williams Pond with night lows in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Williams Pond. If                  you come at the right time of year, Natchaug River offers some perfect whitewater, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Brewster Pond. This lake is so wonderful. An exciting thing to have a look at next to Williams Pond is Williams Pond Dam; if you came for an overnight stay Waters Edge Family Campground is a good place to camp. Drift down the rapids of Salmon River in a kayak, and camping is available at Lake williams Campground.
