High temperatures at Wilcox Pond through the summertime months are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. don’t have to go far from Wilcox Pond to spot the water at Highland Pond Dam. Take a hike on the Mattabesset Trail, and if you're a golfer then a pleasant close by course is Pistol Creek Golf Club.
You'll wish for more hours in
a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Wilcox Pond. A quick journey to East Bradley Brook near Wilcox Pond is a magnificent idea, and the skiing at Powder Ridge is fine. Put some time aside to spend at Westfield Falls if you're here
at Wilcox Pond, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Washington Trail. Wilcox Pond is a wet spot that gets a lot of rain; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February.

is a magnificent spot to camp. A great site to stop at in the vicinity of Wilcox Pond is Preston Notch; hiking is a popular thing to do around Wilcox Pond; Mattabesset Trail is a good local trail.
