| | Pond through the days of summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Wilcox Pond are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. At Wilcox Pond you can catch a glimpse of Camels Hump; let's not forget East Bradley Brook which is a stream that you may bump into while here. trail, and Wilcox Pond is not the only location nearby, Wilcox Pond is a nearby lake. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Mount Southington, and close by Preston Notch is a delightful place to go. Soar down
the rapids of Hammonasset River in a kayak, and don't leave Wilcox Pond without first paying a visit to Westfield Falls. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Mattabesset Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and why
not camp at Camp Eagle Feather if you're here at Wilcox Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Wilcox Pond without visiting Wadsworth Falls State Park, and Hunter Memorial Golf Course is a golf course nearby. You feel that's
sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Really brilliant skiing awaits you at Powder Ridge, naturally you could also check out Highland Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. Lots of rainfall falls at Wilcox Pond; May is when you
get the most rain here while February is mostly the driest month. Dossin Park Beach is a beach close to Wilcox Pond that you can check out, and the Mattabesset Trail is a good hiking trail nearby.
