At Whitney Reservoir throughout the warm months highs are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while Whitney Reservoir nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. If you came for an overnight stay Del-aire Camping Resort is a pleasant site to camp; dry warm beds await you at Rodeway       Inn Willington. At Whitney Dam near Whitney Reservoir there are some attention-grabbing things to see, and if you need a site to stay Wilbraham Inn is a nice choice. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Quaboag River; a round of golf at nearby Hampden Country Club is a tremendous way to kill some time. Whitney Reservoir is a wet location that gets a great deal of rainfall; May is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
