Be careful coming to Whitford Pond, you might not ever wanna return home again. Whitford Pond is right by the Narragansett Trail; Pequot Golf Club is a nice golf course close by. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Seaport Campground since you're here at Whitford Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Days Inn - Mystic.       There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Whitford Pond. Do have a look at Silex Pond in close proximity to Whitford Pond, it's a wonderful lake, and some of the water close by flows, like Lantern Brook. There's some attention-grabbing stuff to see at Whitford Pond Dam close to Whitford Pond; get your heart pumping on the perfect whitewater of Quinebaug River. This lake is so wonderful. You'll hit upon a charming lake called Long Pond near Whitford Pond, and Haley                  Farm State Park is both glorious and charming. Throughout the warm months, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Whitford Pond. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's.
