West Side Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. All the water falling down from the sky makes West Side Pond a wet location; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is February. For you golfers we recommend close by Stonybrook Golf Course, and a magnificent close by hotel is Tollgate Hill Inn. Hiking along the Elbow Trail is glorious fun, and Tyler Lake Dam is an interesting thing to check out. This lake is so

People from Torrington love to come to West Side Pond; unsurprisingly Sucker Brook is a pretty stream that is worth taking a look at. This lake is so wonderful. Going to Mohawk Mountain State Park in the vicinity of West Side Pond is a great thing to do, and camping is available at Valley In The Pines Campground. This lake is so wonderful. of Bartholomew Hill from West Side Pond; a swamp like Balsam Fir Swamp in the vicinity of West Side Pond has lots of attention-grabbing things to see. West Side Pond is right by the Appalachian National Scenic Trail; get your heart
pumping on the great whitewater of Housatonic River. So much amusing stuff right next door to West Side Pond, clearly striking. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Woodbury, and why not camp at Hemlock Hill
Camp Resort and Co-operative while you're here at West Side Pond. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Bantam River; a beautiful lake like Cunningham Pond is a magnificent spot to go to.
Mohawk Mountain is a very popular ski area around here, and the Mattatuck Trail offers hiking at its best. Through the warmest time of the year highs here at West Side Pond get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. During
the wintertime the highs are typically in the 30's, and overnight lows at West Side Pond through the winter generally plunge into the 0's. Blackberry River Inn is a good site to get some rest; Tyler Lake is a magnificent lake close by.
