It's always fun to stop by West Lake. This lake is so wonderful. On a splendid day at West Lake you can take a hike along the Washington Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Miner Pond. This lake is so wonderful. West Lake is a place with many visitors from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford, and you absolutely must explore Wadsworth Falls State Park if you're here. Everybody close by loves skiing at Mount Southington.

| | You can run the rapids of Roaring Brook River near West Lake, and the Mattabesset Trail is a pleasant hiking trail close by. That right there is loads already, but it continues; West Lake has it all. If you need a location to stay Crowne Plaza Hotel HARTFORD-CROMWELL is a perfect choice, and the skiing at Powder Ridge is splendid. At West Lake you can make out Fall Hill. Lakes? Sure, Mount Higby Reservoir is in the neighborhood.

from the sky makes West Lake a wet location; the wettest month of the year is usually May, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is February. Camp Eagle Feather is a tremendous campground nearby, and in
close proximity to West Lake you come across a golf course called Miner Hills Golf Course & Driving Range. And that's not all you can do here at West Lake. Stay the night at Little City Campground; a quick visit to Bradley Brook is
without doubt a wonderful idea.
A trip to West Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Westfield Falls, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Mattabesset Trail. A wonderful close by hotel is Courtyard By
Marriott Hartford Cromwell, and Hammonasset River is a fine whitewater spot nearby. Throughout the summertime months highs here at West Lake reach the 80's, and the night is a bit chillier of course, regularly in the 50's. Daytime
highs during the winter are in the 30's, and nighttime lows at West Lake through the wintertime commonly plunge into the 10's.
