This lake is so wonderful. Very pretty scenery and brilliant skiing is what you get at Woodbury, and if you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Milford/New Haven is a great choice. Lakes? Sure, Rose Mill Pond is
in close proximity, and hiking along the Regicides Trail is nice fun. At Lake Wepawaug during the summertime highs are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's;
nighttime lows at Lake Wepawaug throughout the winter mostly fall into the 10's.
A good location to camp here at Lake Wepawaug is Branchbrook Campground. If you want to hit the beach, Gulf Beach is in the neighborhood; going for
a hike along the Naugatuck Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. An attention-grabbing thing to visit next to Lake Wepawaug is Wepawaug Reservoir Dam; hey, Gotta ski right? Mount Southington is a wonderful site to do that.
