Washining Lake is a nice lake to visit. For the period of the warm days of summer at Washining Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. Highs during the winter are regularly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Washining Lake are in the 10's. place to camp here at Washining Lake is Lone Oak Camp Sites. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Washining Lake and you like golf, you can pop by Canaan Country Club, and Washining Lake is a place with many visitors from
Torrington. There is a tremendous hiking trail next to Washining Lake called the Indian Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Twin Lakes. You definitely have to like Washining Lake. Here
at Washining Lake you can see Babes Hill, and if you need a location to stay Great Barrington Days Inn is a great choice. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Housatonic River, and why
not camp at Camp Half Moon if you're here at Washining Lake. From a rain point of view Washining Lake is a pretty typical place; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February.
