There's so much to do here at Wards Millpond that you need to camp here for a while, Hammonasset Beach State Park is a nice place for that, and going for a hike on the West Woods Trail is always a magnificent adventure. Wards Millpond is near Wards Millpond Dam which is a beautiful place positively worth going to, and if you came to camp Riverdale Camp Sites is a wonderful spot to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Really tremendous skiing awaits you at Mount Southington. This lake is so wonderful. Beaches are nice; and Hotchkiss Grove Beach next to Wards Millpond is no exception, and of course, everybody loves Wharton Brook State Park. Wards Millpond in fact is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise.
