go skiing at Woodbury since you're here, and Above All is clearly visible from Lake Waramaug. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things near Lake Waramaug. Visit Lake Waramaug Brook since you're here at Lake Waramaug, and if you
like swamps you're in luck, Ash Swamp is right nearby. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Shepaug River, and Straits Pond Dam is a lovely place. What a place this is for outdoors folks.
A lovely lake like Bates Pond near Lake Waramaug is a good place to go to, and Lake Waramaug is not far at all from Torrington. A spree to Arrow Point in the vicinity of Lake Waramaug is always a perfect idea, and there's whitewater
on East Aspetuck River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. This lake is so wonderful. There is a great hiking trail in the vicinity of Lake Waramaug called the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not stop at Straits Pond.
