A visit to Wangum Lake is always a good idea. You're most likely into lakes, Old Man McMullen Pond is one of those nearby, and whitewater paddling is magnificent on Housatonic River. trail, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Quarry View Golf Course is in the vicinity. After a long day outdoors Tollgate Hill Inn is a good location to spend a night or two, and the cheerful people of Torrington

area, and you can take a little journey to Wangum Lake Dam if you're here at Wangum Lake. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Wangum Lake. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are ordinarily
in the 30's, and night lows through the winter for Wangum Lake tend to be in the 0's. Wangum Lake is a rather wet place mostly with lots of rain; August is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest.
