There's so much to do here at Walton Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Eagle Feather is a perfect place for that, and the snow is wonderful at Ski Sundown. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Farmington River - Collinsville for all you thrill seekers, and after a long day outdoors The Farmington Inn is a good place to spend a night or two. High temperatures at Walton Pond during the months of summer are in the 70's. Summer overnight

| | lows descend down to the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Walton Pond during the winter mostly dip into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Tunxis Plantation Country Club is always a diversion, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Walton Pond; Tunxis Trail is a pleasant local trail. is not the only place nearby, Lily Pond is a nearby lake, and a lake nearby is Beaverdam Pond. Talcott Mountain State Park is both magnificent and pretty, and it's close to Walton Pond, and there's brilliant hiking along the Metacomet
Trail. The Mattatuck Trail offers hiking at its best, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Mount Southington. Walton Pond is a relatively wet place regularly with a large amount of precipitation;
of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You'll meet a lot of people from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford here, and if you came to camp
American Legion State Forest is a wonderful place to do that. On a beautiful day you acquire a sight of Thompson Hill from Walton Pond; you can run the rapids of Farmington River. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all
the exciting stuff at Walton Pond. Big Brook flows through this neighborhood, and if you need a place to stay Homewood Suites by Hilton HartfordFarmington is a nice choice.
