A day on the slopes of Mount Southington is just what you need; there are plenty of folks from New Haven-Milford here at Valley Shores Pond North. There's so much to do here at Valley Shores Pond North that you need to camp here for a while, Riverdale Camp Sites is a great site for that, and Dowd Hollow Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth a visit. Jacobs Public Beach is in close proximity to Valley Shores Pond North and is a beautiful beach to visit, and if you like swamps you're in luck, Ivy Swamp is right close by. Shores Pond North is always a pleasant idea, and you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Mattabesset Trail. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Hammonasset River; Chatfield Hollow State Park is both delightful and gorgeous.
You truly have to go for Valley Shores Pond North. Valley Shores Pond South is a magnificent lake near Valley Shores Pond North, and Guilford Lakes Lower Dam is beautiful. For the period of the months of summer here at Valley Shores
Pond North, high temperatures generally get into the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Valley Shores Pond North are in the
10's. Yep, outdoors amusing stuff to do are in fact plentiful here at Valley Shores Pond North. Stay the night at Hammonasset Beach State Park. Lakes? Sure, Guilford Lake is around here. This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers
we recommend close by Guilford Lakes Golf Course; hiking along the West Woods Trail is magnificent fun. If the weather is pretty, you obtain a perfect panorama of Hungry Hill from Valley Shores Pond North, and Tower Inn and Suites
is a glorious site to get some rest. All the water falling down from the sky makes Valley Shores Pond North a wet location; April is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February.
