Take a hike on the Mattatuck Trail; tremendous
skiing awaits you at Ski Sundown. Have a glorious hiking adventure along the Tunxis Trail; paddling on Farmington River - Riverton is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Gentile's Camp Ground is a splendid local campground, and
Farmington River - Collinsville has a delightful whitewater paddling spot close by.
Upper Pond is a rather wet place frequently with a good deal of rain; during the month of June you get the most rain around here, and February
meanwhile is the driest month. Black Rock State Park is a wonderful campground nearby, and if you're here, you could also go to pretty Lake Plymouth. This is a popular site for folks from New Haven-Milford.
