If you are in this part of Connecticut make sure to pay a visit to Upper Pond. Get soaked paddling on Farmington River - Collinsville, and nearby you come across the Mattatuck Trail which is a great hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Some nearby water includes Marsh Brook; Gentile's Camp Ground is a splendid local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Places like Black Rock State Park are brilliant to stop at, and here at Upper Pond you can distinguish Holt Hill.

Upper Pond is a delightful place to visit for more than one day, Black Rock State Park is a delightful place to camp nearby. So much exciting stuff to do at Upper Pond, so little time. Waterbury is a good choice; Zeiner Pond is a fine lake nearby. Upper Pond Dam is beautiful and it's near Upper Pond, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Ski Sundown is relatively near. Summer at Upper Pond comes with high temperatures
in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Upper Pond. This place is so good, just check out all the cool stuff to
do close to Upper Pond. If you're stopping by Upper Pond from New Haven-Milford, you won't be the only one; soar down the rapids of Farmington River - Riverton in a kayak. The high level of rainfall makes Upper Pond a relatively wet
site; the wettest month of the year is typically June, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February. If you're here at Upper Pond and you like golf, you can visit Pequabuck Golf Club of Bristol, and there are other places here than Upper Pond, for example Middle Pond.
