A Victorian Village Inn is a pleasant place to get some rest; get your pulse rate up on the splendid whitewater of Hammonasset River. If you came for an overnight stay River Road Campground is a good place to camp; nearby you discover the Mattabesset Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. The scenery at Upper Millpond Dam near Upper Millpond is stunning, and going for a hike on the West Woods Trail is always a good adventure. Riverdale

| | Camp Sites is a good local campground, and if you're looking for a beach close by we recommend Clinton Town Beach. Upper Millpond is a relatively wet place commonly with lots of rainfall; April is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. like to enjoy themselves. You can distinguish Cow Hill from Upper Millpond, and if you've had enough of Upper Millpond, Lockwood Lake is close by. You could also stop at Indian Lake if you're here at Upper Millpond; it's nearby,
and there are great spots to look at along the Washington Trail. Clinton Harbor is not far from Upper Millpond at all, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Powder Ridge. You can run the rapids of Salmon
River close to Upper Millpond; Hillside Links Golf Course is a golf course nearby. That right there is a load already, but it continues; Upper Millpond has it all. A nice beach near Upper Millpond is Clinton Beach, and a trip
to Hammonasset Beach State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. This lake is so wonderful. Throughout the warm days of summer at Upper Millpond temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. During the
winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows throughout the wintertime for Upper Millpond tend to be in the 10's.
