What a nice lake Upper Lagoon is. Be careful coming to Upper Lagoon, you might not ever want to return home again. After a long day outdoors Marriott Mystic Hotel And Spa is a splendid site to spend a night or two, and lots of folks from Norwich-New London come here. Horseshoe Reef is a great place to spend some time at, and Seaport Campground is a great campground nearby. Summertime highs at Upper Lagoon generally tend to be in the 80's, and the overnight is

lots of rainfall; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is June. Dry warm beds await you at Howard Johnson Express Inn -Groton; a spree to Haley Farm State Park is a fine idea. This lake is so wonderful.
The Narragansett Trail offers hiking at its best; as expected Fishtown Brook is a lovely stream that is worth visiting.
