This is a fine neighborhood for people who like lakes. Bolton Lake is a lake around here; Comfort Inn Vernon is a great place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Upper Bolton Lake you will meet lots of folks from nearby Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford, and Gay City State Park is both wonderful and wonderful. For you golfers we recommend nearby Twin Hills Country Club. There's so much to do here at Upper Bolton Lake that

Vernon is a good choice, and Bolton Pond Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to. Throughout the long summer days, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Upper Bolton Lake. Once the sun is down it sinks down
to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while Upper Bolton Lake overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. Be careful coming to Upper Bolton Lake, you might not ever want to
return back home again. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Salmon River, also Upper Bolton Lake Dam is worth checking out since you're here.

 | 16 miles away Im here everyday besides wensday. on wensday they give uss off. don and ann are very nice people with a very nice store and very nice overpriced things inside there very nice store. soon they will mater building the roads and hopefuly next spring will be a very nice one. they have very clean and large sites and never are all the sites full so dont let them tell you there booked. if your looking for a nice peaceful time come durring the normal weekends but if your looking for lots of action well come on the major weekends. if your have any teens bring them because there are lots of very nice children in a drug-free enviroment. we have been her since the begining of time and for some reason where still here! the speed limits 5mph but I drive at around 12mph shhh.... |
