During the days of summer highs here at Unionville Reservoir reach the 70's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Unionville Reservoir.
Get covered with water paddling on Farmington River - Riverton, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Tunxis Plantation Country Club. Just can't get enough of Unionville Reservoir. Farmington River Reservoir
is a nearby lake that you could visit, and going for a hike along the Mattatuck Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Dry warm beds await you at The Farmington Inn, and pleasant skiing awaits you at Mount Southington.
While you're here at Unionville Reservoir, you could also pop by stunning Unionville Upper Reservoir; hiking along the Tunxis Trail is perfect fun. This lake is so wonderful. You can make out Huckleberry Hill from Unionville Reservoir;
if you're interested in hydro structures, you can check out Unionville Reservoir Upper Dam. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Farmington River - Collinsville. There's so much to do here at Unionville Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, American Legion State Forest is a fine location for that.
