If you are in Litchfield county it's always a good idea to stop by Tyler Lake. Really delightful skiing awaits you at Woodbury, and you can have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Mattatuck Trail. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Tyler Lake. whitewater spot close by. Any time is a delightful time at Tyler Lake if you adore the outdoors. There's so much to do here at Tyler Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mohawk Campground is a good location for that, and
in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Shepaug River. A tour to Mohawk Mountain State Park when you're here at Tyler Lake is never a bad idea, and at Tyler Lake Dam in the vicinity of Tyler Lake
there are some interesting things to see. On a good day at Tyler Lake you can take a hike along the Elbow Trail, and since you're here, you could have a look at Sucker Brook. Tyler Lake gets much water; August is the wettest month
with most rain, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Tollgate Hill Inn is a splendid choice, and enjoy a round of golf at Stonybrook Golf Course. High temperatures at Tyler Lake
during the warm days of summer are in the 80's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are usually in the 30's; night lows in the 10's for Tyler Lake.
