An afternoon playing golf at Canaan Country Club is always a delight, and magnificent skiing awaits you at Ski Butternut. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Indian Trail, and while here here do visit nearby Mudge Pond Town Beach. There's no such thing as       a bad day of skiing at nearby Mohawk Mountain; if you come at the right time of year, Housatonic River offers some great whitewater. The peak of Bunker Hill can be spotted from Twin Lakes, and a pretty lake like Twin Lakes is a magnificent spot to explore. Having a magnificent time at Twin Lakes is simple. There's always Twin Lakes Dam to explore right next door to Twin Lakes, and a delightful close by hotel is Sharon Motor Lodge. So much cool stuff in                  the neighborhood of Twin Lakes, absolutely striking. Twin Lakes is near Mt. Washington State Forest which is a beautiful location, and Washinee Lake is a wonderful lake close by. Some of the water close by flows, like Ball Brook, and Days Inn Great Barrington is a delightful spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Taconic State Park Rudd Pond; you can go for a hike on the Elbow Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Twin Lakes; Northrop Trail is a tremendous local trail, and Twin Lakes is not far at all from Torrington. Through the warm days of summer highs here at Twin Lakes reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Twin Lakes.
