    Beautiful Twin Lakes has much to offer visitors. Going for a hike on the Indian Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and getting to Ball Brook from Twin Lakes is painless. This lake is so wonderful. There is a good hiking trail near Twin Lakes called the Elbow Trail, and Housatonic River is a nice whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Twin Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Lone Oak Camp Sites is a  
   great place for that, and there are great spots to explore along the Northrop Trail.
A round of golf at nearby Canaan Country Club is a great way to kill some time. If you came to camp Taconic State Park Rudd Pond is a splendid site to do that, and you'll stumble on a beautiful lake called Washinee Lake. At Twin Lakes you always meet someone from Torrington; since you're here, you could also explore scenic Washining Lake.

               surroundings of Twin Lakes is Babes Hill, and a visit to Mt. Washington State Forest revives the spirit.
