     The beauty of Turtle Pond attracts many people from all around. Swamps don’t sound that wonderful but Pumping Station Swamp near Turtle Pond is pretty wonderful, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Mopus Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Ridgefield Golf Course; obviously, everybody loves Seth Low Pierrepont State Park Reserve. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of people from Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown  
   here at Turtle Pond, and a good nearby hotel is Sheraton Danbury Hotel.
You can run the rapids of Norwalk River near Turtle Pond. There's so much to do here at Turtle Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Clarence Fahnestock State Park is a magnificent place for that. For the duration of the warm months here at Turtle Pond, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's. Summer night lows descend down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the
 
               30's while the cold winter nights at Turtle Pond are in the 10's. Stay the night at Kettletown State Park, and if you need a location to stay Springhill Suites By Marriott Danbury is a glorious choice.
East Aspetuck River is a delightful whitewater spot next to Turtle Pond. Do explore Lake Naraneka in the vicinity of Turtle Pond, it's a pretty lake; why not go to Mamanasco Lake Dam while you're here. Turtle Pond is a wet location that gets much rainfall; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is January.
And that's not all you can do here at Turtle Pond. Thunder Ridge is a very popular ski area nearby; on a pretty day you get a fine view of Ned Mountain from Turtle Pond.
